The brush work along the right side of the 12th hole has been completed. Debris has been stacked and will be chipped at a later date. We will continue to perform periodic maintenance to keep this area from becoming overgrown again.

Work was done using mostly chainsaws and a rental walk behind brush mower.

Brush was pushed back from the start of the fairway all the way up the right side of the hole to the green. A line of brush was left for purposes of soil retention on the embankment alongside the road.

The tree project we planned for this winter was focused on the area between the 10th and 18th fairways. Multiple dead, problematic, and hazardous trees were removed from the main grove between the two fairways. The cluster of small trees at the bottom of the 18th green bank was also eliminated to improve sightlines to and from the clubhouse. Overhanging branches along the left side of 18 will be removed in the near future. These removals will create more shot options for golfers, speed up the pace of play, and provides full visibility of the green and the pot bunker on the left. This project will also help us grow and improve the quality of turf in this area, especially the rough just off the fairway.

The large pine to the right of the 18th green that lost its top last winter was also taken down. This tree would have continued to decline and eventually become a safety hazard due to the damage it sustained last year. Removal of this pine also opens up various vistas from the clubhouse deck.

Stacked logs and brush staged in the parking lot to be chipped and removed by Mayer Tree Service.

Two large rotten and dead pines were removed alongside the cart path leading from the 5th green to the 6th tee.
