Clean up and preparation for opening day is ongoing. The frost is out of the ground and turf is greening up and growing. It won't be long now.
This week greens were rolled prior to the first cut of the season. Elsewhere debris clean up is ongoing throughout play areas, chipping piles are being removed, and stumps from the winter tree removals were ground in preparation for loaming and seeding.

After a day of rain and another roll, greens were sprayed for the first time this season. The shot of nitrogen and some green pigment will help with color; "greener" greens are able to make better use of the sunlight and grow more vigorously. This is helpful since early spring in New England means we will still see some cool and cloudy days in the weeks ahead
